Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains the scope, purposes, and methods of data processing by TangVPN on its website, user panel, and subscription services. Account and transaction data are used to provide the service and are not the same as network activity records. Before using the service, please also read the Terms of Service; for refunds, see the Refund Policy.
Account and Order Data
Account details: You can create an account with a username and password; no email address is required. An email address is not required to create an account or use a subscription. Login credentials are used for authentication and account security. Do not include your password in a support ticket or other correspondence.
Order details: To provide plans, verify payments, process refunds, and look up transactions, TangVPN processes order IDs, plan details, amounts, payment statuses, and related timestamps. Traffic usage is used to calculate remaining plan allowance and reset status; it is not used to reconstruct browsing activity.
Support details: Problem descriptions, error messages, and attachments that users submit through support tickets are used to investigate the reported issue. Before submitting, cover passwords, subscription credentials, and unrelated personal details. Provide only the information needed to address the issue.
Anonymous No-Logs Policy
TangVPN follows an anonymous no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit or retain browsing content, browsing history, or lists of destination addresses that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. This policy does not automatically exempt account details and payment records from necessary transaction retention.
Connection logs: TangVPN does not continuously retain connection activity logs linked to individual accounts or create personal connection histories. Real-time connection status needed to operate the service is used only to maintain the current connection. Cumulative plan usage is billing data and does not include details of websites visited.
Operational troubleshooting is limited to necessary service status and fault information; it does not involve recording users' browsing content. The no-logs policy describes TangVPN's data practices and does not mean that third-party websites or payment services follow the same policy.
Website Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help TangVPN understand page visits, referral sources, and feature usage, so it can improve content and identify page issues. Website analytics are separate from network activity on subscription routes and are not used to build profiles of the content users access on international websites.
Cookies and browser local storage are used for necessary session status, login credentials, and language preferences. Login credentials allow the panel to recognize the current session and should not be shared with others. Analytics are kept separate from service account purposes; passwords and subscription credentials are not submitted as analytics data.
You can clear this storage in your browser settings. You may need to log in again or select your preferences afterward. Clearing browser data does not also delete your server-side account or order records.
Third-Party Payments and Data Disclosure
Payment methods include Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service or network and are subject to its own data practices. TangVPN receives payment results and transaction identifiers needed to verify orders; it does not ask users to provide their payment account passwords.
Data is processed only as necessary to provide the service, handle payments and refunds, respond to user requests, or meet applicable legal obligations. When disclosure is legally required, TangVPN verifies the basis for the request and limits the scope of disclosure. It does not provide browsing history that this policy explicitly says it does not collect.
Retention Periods and Deletion Requests
Account details are retained for as long as needed to maintain the account and service relationship. Order and refund records are retained for the periods necessary for reconciliation, dispute handling, and applicable legal requirements. Support ticket data is deleted or de-identified after the support matter and any necessary review are complete. Retention periods vary by purpose; TangVPN does not promise a single fixed deletion period.
You can sign in to the panel and use the support ticket portal to request access to or correction of your data, or deletion of your account. TangVPN may need to verify account ownership before processing a request. Records that must be retained by law or for unresolved transactions will have their use restricted; other data that is no longer necessary will be deleted or anonymized.
Policy Updates and Questions
When this policy changes, the revised content will be published on this page and the month at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes to data use or user rights will be explained on the website or in the panel. Where applicable rules require separate consent, TangVPN will obtain it as required.
If you have questions about the scope of data, retention reasons, or deletion, contact TangVPN through a panel support ticket. Describe the account matter and your specific request, and avoid including personal details unrelated to your request.
